HURT OUR LOCAL ECONOMY!
Whereas; A proposed casino for Anthony, NM would jeopardize
the health of our local economy by destroying jobs in a wide array of
industries, and Whereas; The opening of this casino would be accomplished
through a scheme that would subject New Mexico to unlimited casino gambling,
which would cause further economic damage statewide THEREFORE, We, the
undersigned, OPPOSE the building of a casino in Anthony, New Mexico.
We urge the United States Secretary of Interior, Governor Richardson and
the Dona Ana County Commission to REJECT any proposal for a new casino
in Dona Ana County, New Mexico.
